The Small Bites Series: Market Study & Easy Data for Small Developers Session w/ Sharon Woods

Introducing, the Small Bites Series.

Small Bites is our newest virtual training series delivering relevant and valuable tools on the implementation of small-scale development. Sessions will range from an hour to an hour and a half in length. Led by our diverse faculty, they’ll offer expertise drawn from real-life experiences. These sessions are for people of all skill levels, from small-scale developers and local advocates, to policymakers. An opportunity to ask questions is included at the end of each secession. Check out our small bites below!

Join us for a session on how small developers can conduct their own mini market assessments with free data and easy methods. This will be led by Sharon Woods, who is an industry leader in quantifying local demand for missing middle housing. Sharon's insights are powerful because they pair detailed demographic and lifestyle data with discrete building types (ex. STEP Buildings). Her reporting shows that not all apartments are alike and helps small developers support their projects with clear market demand data.

In this session, she's taking us behind the scenes on the tools she uses to gather such valuable information.
