Incremental Development Alliance faculty member Ivy Vann will walk through how everyday people are participating in shaping their neighborhoods through small-scale development and share practical pathways for getting started.
This lecture is well suited for community advocates, neighborhood leaders, aspiring developers, architects, planners, and anyone curious about how to increase accessible housing and local business spaces incrementally.
In 2024, Colorado passed House Bill 24-1152, legalizing Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) in many areas across the state — removing long-standing barriers to building in urban areas where housing is needed most. With these changes in place, homeowners and local leaders are looking to professionals for guidance and this lecture is a great place to start.
