IncDev National Field Trip | Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area

  • Dallas, TX United States (map)

Come explore one of America's fastest-growing metropolitan regions where small-scale developers are proving that incremental development can thrive even in sprawling Sun Belt markets. Dallas-Fort Worth combines diverse neighborhood character with emerging opportunities for infill development, creating a dynamic landscape for developers focused on building community wealth.

Expect a full-day exploring neighborhoods with the developers, planners, and community leaders who are transforming them one project at a time. You'll witness how incremental projects are bringing walkability and character to auto-oriented corridors and hear the real stories behind successful developments—the creative wins, the obstacles overcome, and the lessons learned.

Our local steering committee has curated exceptional examples of adaptive reuse, infill development, and strategic small-scale projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. You'll connect with IncDev Faculty, alumni, and fellow developers while exploring how incremental development adapts to Texas's unique regulatory and market conditions.

The experience begins with a FREE public lecture and happy hour on Thursday evening.
